April Monthly Meeting – COVID-19 Impact on Real Estate

On April 18, 2020, Ms. NaToya V. Joshua,  Associate Broker & Realtor with Keller Williams Preferred Properties, Upper Marlboro, Maryland (Prince George’s County) served as the Professional Development guest speaker, via the ZOOM video conference platform, and conducted a very informative, interactive presentation, on the business topic: “Real Estate—A Profession that Welcomes You Home” to American Business Women Association-Oxon Hill Charter Chapter members and guests. She discussed licensing requirements and best practices for becoming a real estate sales agent or broker; retail market statistics and trends in Prince George’s County; the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the local and national industry; explained many complex terms, and addressed potential risks factors associated with a variety of topics such as reverse mortgages, ibuying (without agents), and new credit score criteria.

Ms. Joshua is licensed in Virginia, Maryland, and the District of Columbia (D.C.), with over twenty years of experience in real estate.
